| The Computer Engineering department aims to graduate student with B.Sc., degree (honor) specialized, in computer engineering. The student has to follow up 10 semesters for graduation. Theoretical and practical aspects of subjects related to the computer engineering have to be studied to obtain high skills of software and hardware computing engineering as well as in electronics circuit design and electrical theory, feedback and control systems, etc. (students have to have a wide knowledge of 81 courses/224 credit hours/22 credit hours/semester). |
| Also, the department is willing to do research in the area of electrical-electronic computer-aided design and computer aided manufacturing engineering to serve the society of Sudan to develop the quality and technology of the current establishments. Also, the Department offers consultations in many areas such as computing (software and hardware and networks) and for comprehensive design of ac power supply systems, plus full control, for modern factories, and fire alarm systems. |
