| The department of Information Technology offers a program of ten semester's duration with a total of 190 credit hours leading to the B.Sc. (Honors) degree. The curriculum is designed to familiarize the students with the fundamentals of information technology and the business knowledge. It seeks the theoretical and practical training of qualified graduates able to share in the development and progress of the country. |
| The department of Information Technology concerns itself with both pedagogic and community services. It aims to prepare and train information technologist cadre of graduates who are able both to direct the country’s economic units as well as to apply the latest knowledge in information technology to develop appropriate solutions that lead to greater managerial efficiency. |
| To achieve the aforementioned goals, the department of Information Technology takes the responsibility to: |

Provide students with relevant knowledge in computer applications and management with emphasis in areas related to system analysis and design tailored to the user needs. |

Introduce students to modern methods in the area of information technology and help students apply their theoretical knowledge of information technology to actual practice through designed training programs. |

Enhance the student’s ability to absorb contemporary information technology theories and in particular that which deals with the analysis of decision problems. It also familiarizes students with basic economic concepts as well as with means of economic analysis and evaluation. |

Undertake a graduation project on a practical problem facing a certain state or private agency in the administrative field and the presentation of appropriate solutions that lead to better performance. |
